- Diary button takes you to the diary.
- Patient Details goes to the patient’s details screen.
- Sale Only is for over the counter sales, such as blephasol etc.
- Px Search button allows you to search for a patient using various criteria.
- Outstanding Jobs button will show a list of all outstanding jobs that patients are expecting tomorrow or by the date in the box below the button. If there is no date in that box it defaults to tomorrow.
- Patients to Phone button lists patients to phone who’s dispense ready box says “yes”
- Awaiting Collection button list all jobs that are awaiting collection and have been notified.
- Outstanding Payments lists outstanding payments.
- Returns gives a screen where you can store a list of frames etc returned to a supplier for credit.
- Clock In/Out will record when staff arrive and leave and can be monitored on the Till screen.
- Frame Orders is used for temporarily recording frames that are ordered for specific patients to make it easier tying up a frame to a patient when the frame arrives.
- Lens Ordering button lets you print off sheets of jobs to fax through to the labs where you are ordering lenses from.
- Standing Orders button list monthly standing order/direct debit payments.
- To Do button lists things to do in the practice.
- Till button takes you to the banking screen. (See banking sheet)
- GOS Reports lets you print off a list of the GOS forms that you are submitting to the PCT.
- Suppliers button lists suppliers names and phone numbers.
- Petty Cash will record petty cash spent.
- Reminders button takes you to the reminders screen.
- Happy Birthday button opens a screen where you can text all your patients on their birthday.
- CL SMS is where you can set up auto SMS reminders for patients to change their lenses.
- Letters button is used for mailshots and setting up GP/Patient letters for the patient details screen.
- Invoiced button lists companies who you are waiting payment from. (See dispensing screen – owed by)
- Accessory Reordering. This lists accessories which require reordering. They can be automatically added when a certain level is reached.
- Lists button is where most of the setting up of Opticabase is done.
- Eyecare Plan button will show a list of eyecare plan patients.
- Back Up button is for backing up Opticabase (ONLY in Reception Plus)
