PVN for a private home

• Update the Last Exam and Exam Date for the patient who is having a domicilary visit, on their patient details screen.
• Click on the PVN button.
• Click on Create.
• Enter the approximate time
• Enter whether it is a residential home etc
• Click on Submit

PVN for a Venue (eg Nursing/residential Home) – Opticabase Domi system only

• Go into Homes
• Find the Home you are going to visit
• Click on “Select Patients”
• Tick the patients you are going to visit (3 weeks or more in the future)
• Enter the date at the bottom of the screen for the exam date and click “Update Exam Dates”
• You could also update the Optometrist at this point if you know who it will be.
• Click on PVN at the top
• Enter an approximate time
• Enter the premises type
• The Venue contact pulls through from the Homes screen with the name of the contact (this must NOT contain dashes or brackets. If it does, you need to go into the Homes screen and change it)
• Then click on “Submit” at the bottom of the screen.
