Top row:
- First 4 buttons are used to check what stage forms are up to and who still needs to sign them.
- Completed forms for submitting button shows any forms that are completed but still need submitting.
- Queued button is when the portal is down for a few days and you queue forms for later instead of submitting them now. This button needs clicking a number of times to make sure that the forms all go. Once it says that you have no more forms queued then you can click on “Refresh Submission Statuses”
Middle row:
- View submissions on portal just takes you to PCSE online
- Download a GOS 3 … is used when a patient brings in a GOS 3 from elsewhere
- Find a GOS 3 is used when you have uploaded one for a patient to take away (same as button on the GOS 3 itself)
- eGOS 3 Perf Sig only: A list of GOS3 forms where only the performer has signed – eg Px not ordered glasses yet but voucher has been issued
- eGOS3 incomplete: Forms where the back has not been filled in yet (eg waiting for collection)
- eGOS4 incomplete: Forms where the back has not been filled in yet (eg waiting for collection)
- Claims without status: Forms that have been submitted but haven’t returned a status (ie. Issue with PCSE. Probably will be empty)
- eGOS Rejections: A list of current rejections. This should be checked regularly in case one has been missed.
- Refresh submission statuses: When PCSE can process your submission you may get an answer “Received” instead of the usual “accepted”. You then need to click on this button to refresh that status and find out if it is accepted. You can do this after getting a few “received” or after each one.
Bottom Row:
- Enter period of the submissions and you can then get lists of forms that have been accepted.
eGOS Statement on the PCSE portal
The eGOS statement on the PCSE portal is set to pay you for all accepted forms that have been submitted up to 7 WORKING days before your payment date. It seems that date is the “Statement Title” that you can see when you bring up the lists of statements on the PCSE portal. The forms on a statement do not include the date in the statement title. For example, we would expect that the statement titled “Ophthalmic07Nov2001” would be forms from 29th Oct 2020 (Title of previous statement) until 6th November 2020 inclusive.

The statement on the portal is only for eGOS forms. If you send any paper forms in those will come on a separate paper statement.
