XP PEN SET UP (for all computer that have an XP-Pen sig pad)

  • Plug in the XP-Pen (Make sure you plug it in to a port and do not move it to another port otherwise you would have to set it up again.
  • Download software from www.xp-pen.opticabase.co.uk and install it (See instructions below)
  • Go into Lists from the Main Menu
  • Click on eGOS Settings (close to bottom of 3rd column)
  • Click on XP-PEN Settings (top right corner)

Once downloaded, you will need to unzip the file before installing the software and follow instructions below. To Unzip the XP-Pen.exe file you need to double click on the zip file and then just drag the XP-PEN.exe file that is inside out of the folder.

Once you have got the XP-PEN.exe file (as above) you need to right click on it and left click on “Run as administrator”. It will then install the program and you should have a small icon next to your clock in he bottom right of your screen (called Pen Tablet if you move your mouse over it).

  1. In Opticabase, go into, Lists, eGOS Settings (towards bottom of third column) and then click on “XP-PEN settings (top right)
  2. Click on the Pen Tablet icon next to your clock (it may be in hidden icons) to bring it up.
  3. Change both Pen Button settings to “No Action”
  4. Click on “Custom Display Mapping”
  5. Then click in the top left corner of the large blue box and then the bottom right
  6. Then click on “Display Ratio
  7. Then click OK
