The “To Do” screen which is accessed from the “Main menu” or “Patient Details” screen tracks jobs that need doing such as phoning a patient to remind them to come in and pay the balance for their glasses.

When you open the “To Do” Screen it only shows the jobs that have an action date of today or earlier. To view all items, click on “Show All”

To add a new job click on “New Action” at the top.

The “Filter By” drop down shows jobs for a specific member of staff to do.

The “Time” button and “Action on” button sort the jobs into that order.

The red cross (bottom left) of a job is to delete it – you should use this once the job is completed or not required anymore.

Just typing in the patient’s ID number will bring their name up or if you come directly from the Patient’s Details screen it will automatically fill in the patient’s name and ID when you add a “new action”.

By having an action date you should get a message when you start up Opticabase to say that there are jobs that need actioning.
