Instructions for creating a QR Code using QR Code Monkey for Google reviews

The first step is to get the direct link to your Google reviews page. 

Search for your practice on Google and then click on “Get More Reviews”. There you can find the direct link for patients to leave reviews.

If you don’t see “Get More Reviews” then the Google account that you are signed in with on that computer isn’t linked to your business. see *”Attributing your practice to your Google account” at the bottom of this page.

Using QR Code Monkey www.qrcode-monkey.com (you can also use QR Code Generator which is similar, but with the option to add a frame)

1. Enter your google review link into “Your URL” box

2. Choose the colours that you want for the Main Colour (Foreground Color), the corner colours (Eye Color)

3. Upload a logo (to go in the centre) from your computer, if you have one.

4. Choose a shape for the main code (Body Shape) and the corners (Eye Frame and Eye Ball)

5. I would not change the main shape too much as you want it to look like a QR Code.

6. Change the image quality to high. Click on Create QR Code. Download the PNG.

7. You can then use that QR wherever you want to. eg. Print on posters for patients to scan after their examination or after collecting their glasses.

*Attributing your practice to your Google account.

If business isn’t attributed to your google account then you need to add it
Go to https://www.google.com/business/ and  Sign in with your Google account

Click “Add business” and “type in your business name” as it is found on google or “add your business to Google” if it can’t be found.

Then click to “manage” the business and enter your business information.
