From the Letters screen you can choose various variables to send out letters to groups of patients.

1. The button with dashes on it  will open up a screen to print labels for those patients that you have chosen.
2. Both the “Ages” letter and “Frames Sold” letter use the date periods also.
3. The “Frames Sold” will give a list of patients who have bought a specific frame make. You can use any part of the frame model. Eg. silh would bring up all patients who have bought Silhouette frames. Leaving the “Frames Sold” box blank would give you a list of ALL frames sold for the specific period.
4. A mail merge letter can be linked to any of these options for printing letters.
5. “Hobbies etc” letter would bring up patients for a specific hobby or group. For example, this can be used to create 5 Star patients or similar to send Xmas cards to. You set up the different Hobbies etc in Lists and then add the hobby etc to a patient’s details screen.
6. The SQL Creator on the letters page is more advanced and you can get a list of patients for any specific criteria that you wish.
