Giving Discounts off a dispense.
One option is just to write the amount on the Discount/NHS box on the dispense.
An alternative option is as follows.
- Go to Lists and Accessories.
- Add in discounts as Accessory.
- Stock No: “2 for 1” gives 2nd Pair Free
- Stock No: “DV & NV” gives Frame Free
- Stock No Starts with: “FREE” gives the Whole Dispense Free
- Stock No Starts with SPECSDISCOUNT followed by a number: eg “SPECSDISCOUNT95” discounts the job by that amount (number) eg £95 in this example
- Stock No Starts with: “Lenses Free on voucher” discounts by the lens value
- Stock No Starts with a percent: eg “25%” eg 25% discount gives percentage discount off the total amount
- Stock No Starts with a percent: eg “25%” followed by a space and then “sp” eg 25% specs gives percentage discount off spectacle amount
- Stock No Starts with a percent: eg “25%” followed by a space and then “frame” eg 25% frame gives percentage discount off frame amount
- Stock No Starts with a percent: eg “25%” followed by a space and then “lenses” eg 25% lenses gives percentage discount off lenses amount
- Stock No Starts with a percent: eg “25%” followed by a space and then “CLs” eg 25% CLs gives percentage discount off contact lenses amount
- Stock No Starts with a percent: eg “25%” followed by a space and then “CLandSoln” eg 25% CLandSoln gives percentage discount off contact lenses and solutions amount
- Stock No Starts with a percent: eg “25%” followed by a space and then “Accessory” eg 25% Accessory gives percentage discount off Accessory amount
- Stock No Starts with: “GOS3” and ends in an amount less than 100.00 eg GOS 3 £25.00 reduces the Dispense to the amount.
- Stock No Starts with: “FixedPrice” then Opticabase will ask how much you want the patient to pay. eg. The total comes to £125 but you want the patient to pay £30
It does not matter what it says in the Accessory column. The Stock No. is the important information for Opticabase to calculate how much discount to give off which category.
