To see which OPTOM appointments are available from the diary you can click on the “Free Appts” button at the top of the diary screen.

This screen shows all the free appointments (Only Optom appointments) from today until 1 months time.

If you went into the diary from the Px search screen or Px Details you will have the patients name at the top right of the screen. When you click on “Book” that patient will be booked into that specific time slot.

Columns:

• Date Shows the day available
• Week Shows which week the appointment is for. eg. 0 is the current week, 1 is next week, 2 is a fortnight etc.
• Time Shows the time available on that day
• Book will either book the patient in (if there is a name at the top right of the screen – see above) or take you to that free appointment.
• Optom Shows the Optom set up for that appointment.
• Notes: Shows if that appointment requires a specific type of examination. eg. Child Exam
• Diary shows which diary the free appointment is in.
