To set up a standing order for a patient go to their CL screen and insert the details in at the top of the screen. Give the patient a reference for when they set up their standing order and insert it into the reference box as this makes it easier when comparing your bank statement to the list of standing orders/direct debits which you should be receiving.

When you get the bank statement or list of direct debits click on Standing Orders on the Main Menu screen.

The month box should have last months number in it as you will be checking off the previous month. Eg. In July it should have 6 for June as the bank statement that you have would be for June.

Click on Monthly check.

If there are last months dates in the Paid Date boxes then click on “Clear All Paid Dates”.

Insert a date from the previous month in the date box close to the top in the middle. Then go through each patient clicking on Paid. You can sort the list into Reference, Name etc order by clicking on the appropriate button to make it easier to find a patient in the list.

Once you have been through the list, you can go back to the previous screen and click on “Monthly Unpaid” for a list of those patients who have not paid”

To see where an individual patient is up to with payments you can go to their CL screen and click on “Payments” in the top right corner.

For a List of money in from standing orders/Direct Debits for a certain period, go to the Till screen. Insert the date period that you wish to query and click on the “Standing Orders” button.
